Main Market Square – western part

INTER-BUD's most prestigious project, which set the company an ambitious challenge: carrying out a huge scope of works in a disproportionately short time (work started at the end of August 2004, and completion was set for November 30, 2004). The works comprised: removal of the damaged paving together with its sub-base to a depth of 1 m (a total of 12,000 m³ of soil and rubble was hauled away), construction of a utility channel along the entire length of the Cloth Hall, and replacement of the old infrastructure and installation of new.

For rebuilding the surface of the Main Market Square in Kraków, INTER-BUD received the main prize in the “Construction of the Year 2004” competition, organized by the Polish Association of Building Engineers and Technicians (PZITB). This distinction confirms the high standard of the work and the team's experience in carrying out demanding construction projects.
