Six projects on post-industrial sites in Kraków's Grzegórzki and Mistrzejowice show how INTER-BUD has for years given new functions to neglected places. Former works and storage yards have become housing estates, office buildings and a hotel. The seventh project is the modernisation of the Main Market Square – the heart of Kraków – which has become the city's showcase.

The first phase of the apartment complex, built in 2007–2017 on the grounds of the former Ludwik Zieleniewski Machinery and Equipment Works. Distinctive cascading architecture, spacious terraces and buildings opening towards the Vistula gave this post-industrial part of Grzegórzki a new, residential quality. The investment received the Construction of the Year 2009 title.

A completed complex of eight residential buildings with commercial units, built on the 4.5-hectare site of the former PKS bus depot, including its technical facilities and halls. The development stands out for its modern architecture, functional apartments and high standard of common areas. The playground is surrounded by mature trees, and carefully arranged courtyards with pergolas and benches create a welcoming space for rest, giving this post-industrial part of Grzegórzki a new function and an urban character.

Comprehensive modernisation of the Main Market Square – first its western part (2004), then the eastern part together with the surroundings of St Adalbert's Church – one of Kraków's most important public spaces. The works included new paving, modernised infrastructure and the renewal of historic elements, and were carried out alongside archaeological research and excavations. The western part received the Construction of the Year 2004 title.

A multi-phase residential complex built on a 3.65-hectare site in Mistrzejowice, transforming a former post-industrial area into a modern, comprehensively developed space. Architecture, greenery, services and leisure infrastructure form a coherent piece of the urban fabric.
The history of the INTER-BUD Group begins in Kraków with the founding of a renovation and construction company. It carries out construction works and gradually expands its scale and scope, growing from a small business into a comprehensive contractor.
The first building-materials depot opens on Kobierzyńska Street in Kraków. Developing the company's own technical, material and equipment base becomes an important part of its further growth.
Growing development activity leads to the founding of INTER-BUD Developer. The Group begins delivering its own investments – from land purchase and design, through construction and sales, to property administration.
INTER-BUD's first residential building is completed on Szuwarowa Street. It is the start of a development portfolio that over the following years will grow to dozens of buildings and thousands of apartments and houses.
The new headquarters on Czerwone Maki 65 gives the Group technical, production and administrative facilities. In the same year INTER-BUD obtains ISO 9001 certification and receives the main prize of the HERMES 2001 competition.
The growing areas of activity are spun off into specialised companies: INTER-BUD Developer, FRB INTER-BUD responsible for general contracting, INTER-BUD Façade Systems, OKNA INTER-BUD and INTER-BUD Management. The structure of the INTER-BUD Group takes shape.
The rebuilding of the western part of Kraków's Main Market Square is honoured with the Construction of the Year 2004 award. The project is carried out in the very heart of the historic city, alongside archaeological research and excavations.
Construction of the multi-phase estate on Bobrzyńskiego Street begins. The project grows over the following years, making INTER-BUD part of the dynamic residential development of Ruczaj. Pasaż Ruczaj and further service functions follow in later years.
INTER-BUD receives the Kraków Residential Developer of the Year title. The Group also becomes a member of SBDiM – an organisation it remains associated with to this day.
The first phase of Wiślane Tarasy is built – an apartment complex on the grounds of the former Ludwik Zieleniewski Machinery and Equipment Works. The project receives, among others, the Construction of the Year 2009 award and distinctions in the Kraków Residential Developer of the Year competitions.
A complex of 23 semi-detached houses is built on Zawiła Street. It marks the start of the Group's activity in Kliny, later continued by the Panorama Kliny and Parkowe Kliny projects.
On the 4.5-hectare site of the former PKS bus depot, the eight-building Grzegórzki Park complex is built. The ten-year project transforms a site with a technical past into a new, comprehensively designed part of Grzegórzki.
The multi-phase development of Piasta Towers begins in Mistrzejowice. On a 3.65-hectare site, a complex of ultimately 10 buildings takes shape. The final phase is now on sale.
The next stage of the riverside complex begins. Wiślane Tarasy 2.0 continues the transformation of the former Zieleniewski Works, combining contemporary architecture, greenery and extensive leisure and service functions. The project wins the European Property Awards 2025–2026 in the Residential Development 20+ Units category.
The first of six Forbes Diamonds (2018, 2022–2026). The same year the Group completes M House on 29 Listopada Avenue.

INTER-BUD becomes a member of the Polish Association of Developers. In this period it also develops further residential projects, including Nove Skotniki and Panorama Kliny.
Further functions of Fabryczna City open on the site of the former vodka factory: Mercure Kraków Fabryczna City and Fabryczna 13. The historic buildings are preserved and given new hotel, dining and service functions.
After ten years, Grzegórzki Park is completed. The project is honoured with further distinctions in the Kraków Residential Developer of the Year competition and with the Golden Falcon Award.
INTER-BUD receives the SBDiM President's Award in the Kraków Developer of the Year competition – another chapter in the Group's history with one of the most important competitions of the development industry in Kraków.
In the European Property Awards 2025–2026, Fabryczna City receives a 5 Star award as Best Mixed Use Development Poland – the best mixed-use development in Poland in this edition. Wiślane Tarasy 2.0 is named Award Winner in the Residential Development 20+ Units category. INTER-BUD also receives its sixth Forbes Diamond.
In the European Property Awards 2026–2027, Bunscha Residence receives a 5 Star award as Best Mixed Use Development Poland – the best mixed-use development in Poland in this edition. The award also covers Wings Plaza – Stage I of Bunscha Residence – which is additionally named Award Winner in a separate category, Apartment / Condominium Development – Poland. In the same year INTER-BUD ranks 11th in the Forbes TOP 30 largest developers in Poland and receives another Forbes Diamond.
